CALIFORNIA TIERED HOME PRICING
Home prices continued to rise slightly in California’s largest cities in September 2017. Home prices rose compared to the prior month across the low price tier in San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco. However, while some mid- and high-tier home prices increased, some remained level compared to the previous month. The statewide average for low-tier property prices was 9% higher than a year earlier. Average mid-tier prices were 8% higher and high-tier prices were 6% higher than a year earlier.
